Life is an adventure on a path that is long and winding.

Every experience in my life was a teaching and an awakening. Some I handled with openness; at other times, I was not so graceful. There were those times of which I can now say, “What was I thinking?”

I have studied and graduated as a therapist with the Gestalt Institute of Toronto and Esalen Institute (Big Sur, California). I am trained in EMDR therapy. I am a student in contemplative psychotherapy (Buddhist psychology/psychotherapy) at the Nalanda Institute for Contemplative Science (New York City) and the Institute of Traditional Medicine (Toronto). As a psychotherapist, ordained clergy (United Church of Canada) and practitioner of mindfulness through Zen Buddhism, I offer Gestalt psychotherapy that embraces mind, body and spirit.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I am a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists (OACCPP).

Bringing about healing & wholeness

Working with Gestalt psychotherapy and mindfulness/meditation brings together all the awareness of my life as an out queer man who is a husband, parent, teacher, spiritual leader, therapist. This integration allows me to offer you skilled psychotherapy that is deeply compassionate, healing and holy.

I practice Gestalt and mindfulness as an amazing means of bringing about healing and wholeness, which we were all created to live and experience in the here and now.

My clients have been men and women, adolescents and children who wanted to work on a wide variety of issues affecting their ability to live solid, complete, fulfilling lives.

I am described as one who works with you in a “creative, gentle and direct way.”

Working with you, we will work with what is getting in the way of living your full and authentic expression or movement. As I work with you to be fully present in the here and now, you will discover that what is offered is more excitement, more energy and more courage to live your life differently.

I look forward to meeting you.
